We are a caring, friendly and unique facility who strives to give you and your child the best care. We follow an American based curriculum combined with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage). Our children are encouraged to be expressive, to think creative and critically in everything they do. Active learning takes place in all classrooms and students are constructively engaged throughout the day.

Education system and curriculum

.An American based curriculum combined with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage).
Teachers plan classroom activities around age appropriate lesson planning which is based on monthly themes and the curriculum.
Ipad and interactive white boards will be used in the classrooms for ages 3-4 years during scheduled lessons.
Appropriate and ministry approved classroom ratios.

Health and safety Care System

A qualified and trained Nurse will be stationed at the nursery will be doing daily check ups on temperature, hygiene, incident and accident and other health issues.

A Qualified Doctor’s visit will be done on a monthly basis to ensure all health care systems are in place.
Our nurse room is fully equipped with 2 hospital beds, minor surgery set, examination couch, fully equipped instrument cabinet, stethoscope and everything needed for minor and major incident and accidents.
Students and teachers that are aware of the nursery fire and safety drill procedures.
Fire drills will be done monthly during nursery times.

Food Care system

The nursery has a no nuts, no fish policy.
A health care form will be compulsory for all parents to hand in before any student is accepted.
A separate fully equipped dining hall for students is proved.

Admission

New Registration for 2016-2017 Academic Year is now open.

Times for monthly Payments
monthly reminder via email and front desk notice board will be given to parents between the 15th to last day of every month.
payments will be expected between the 15th of current month through to the 5th of the next month.
Timings
school will commence at 6am for students and end at 3pm.
Teachers will commence for duty at 6am and finish at 3pm.
After care will commence at 3pm with extra charges.
The nursery will be open from Sundays to Thursdays.
Registration restrictions

The nursery will not take students older than 4 years old.
An exception for students turning 4 years old during the school year will be made.
The nursery will not accept any students with special needs.
Students will not be allowed to stay at the school without their parents if all required documents are not present in the child’s file.
Supply lists
All parents will be provided with a supply list for spare clothes, wet wipes, diapers, if needed, stationery, breakfast, lunch and snack ideas.

National day fun activities
Sports day fun activities
Thursdays are fun day.
Field trips will not be allowed due to safety precautions.
Game and fun days will be based on lesson plans and parents will be informed in advance via a monthly newsletter.

Arabic Classes

All parents will be informed that Arabic lessons will be compulsory in the nursery for one lesson per day.
Arabic and Islamic classes will be offered everyday, once a day, for 30 minutes based on the students age.
Islamic lessons are optional.

Lady Bugs 1 & 2

We develop a loving and secure environment for our students. Connections to the world around them and to their feelings are encouraged.

Yellow Butterflies

Children are encouraged to be unique in everything they do. The development of social skills is one of the main focuses in this age group. The understanding and use of words is encouraged, physical skills and coordination is developed and focused on. All activities are done through play based learning.

Blue Butterflies

All children develop at different rates; students are encouraged to be unique in everything they do. Social skills and building self – esteem is a very important part of the development in this age group and plays a big role in a child’s learning. We focus on speech development, language and communication and understanding the world around us, these are some of our main focus areas in this age group. All activities are done through play based learning.
